Face, Eye & Ear Protection

Face Protection: A face shield is a protective covering for your face. Some serve as safety glasses and a face covering, while others use wire mesh for protection against large particles. Wire mesh face shields lack tinting benefits and often do not meet ANSI standards. Specialized face shields, such as those for welding, come in clear and welding configurations. Welding shields feature a lens designed to protect against intense welding light, and some include respiratory features for chemical filtration. Eye Protection: Your eyes are crucial, whether considered windows to the soul or simply tools for sight. In at-height, industry, and construction work, where hazards abound, eye safety is paramount. That's why eye protection is a key component of your PPE. Eye protection comes in three categories: Face Shields, Safety Glasses, and Safety Goggles. ANSI Z87.1 sets standards for eye protection, with four qualifying tests. While passing the first test meets the standard, glasses must pass the remaining three for Z87+ marking, indicating suitability for impact hazard situations. For heightened protection beyond Z87+, military-grade eye protection under MIL-PRF 32432 is recommended, signifying additional rigorous testing. Ear Protection: The significance of your hearing cannot be overstated. Exposure to loud machinery poses a risk of inner ear damage and potential hearing loss. Additionally, dirt, dust, and other hazards may lead to various ear-related issues. Safeguarding your ears and preserving your hearing is essential for a comprehensive PPE setup on the job site. Our array of hearing protection solutions proves invaluable in this regard, offering options such as ear muffs, ear plugs, and convenient ear plug dispensers.
